Dr. Rani Srivastava is a respected nurse leader known for her ability to drive change through collaborative relationships and translating vision into actionable strategies across diverse stakeholder groups. As the Associate Professor and Dean of Nursing at Thompson Rivers University, and with adjunct positions at York University and Dalhousie University, she is a prominent figure in Canadian nursing education.

As the Director of Simulation Learning at Thompson Rivers University, Michael Lundin is a visionary leader in the field of clinical simulation education. With over a decade of expertise, Michael is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist and Certified Coach, dedicated to designing, implementing, and managing innovative simulation-based training programs.Michael's collaborative spirit and problem-solving skills have made him a sought-after partner for healthcare institutions, academic centers, and industry leaders. He works tirelessly to bridge the gap between theory and practice, empowering healthcare professionals through immersive learning experiences that drive excellence in patient care.

As a Chairperson at Thompson Rivers University, Steven Ross, BSN, MN, is a respected leader in the field of nursing education. With a deep commitment to clinical decision-making and a passion for advocating for marginalized populations, Steven brings a wealth of practical expertise to his role.

Sarah’s research explores the development of precision health through scholarship focused on nursing education, research, and practice with a focus on foundational genomic knowledge for all nurses. She works with an extensive network of national and international genomics nurse educators and researchers on several projects, including the creating of a genomics educational hub (LINKAGE) and integrating genomics into the Nurse Practitioner program at TRU. Sarah is a member of the steering committees for the Global Genomics Nursing Alliance (G2NA) and the Canadian Nursing & Genomics initiative. She is also a member of the International Society of Nurses in Genetics (ISONG) and the Nursing Genomics Project Group of the National Human Genome Research Institute’s Inter-Society Coordinating Committee for Practitioner Education in Genomics (ISCC-PEG).

Dr. Bourque-Bearskin a Cree/Métis Nurse from Beaver Lake Cree Nation, and Associate Professor at Thompson River University, School of Nursing, has devoted her life and career to improving Indigenous health. Over the last 30 years she has worked tirelessly in clinical practice, nursing education, nursing leadership to advance Indigenous-nursing knowledge within many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Metis communities. Dr. Bourque-Bearskin¹s leadership in bringing together networks of community researchers is remarkable. She currently holds a number of grants funded by the Canadian Institute health Research ­ Institute for Indigenous Peoples, the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research and Thompson Rivers University where she initiates community-led research by Indigenous communities. She mentors students and faculty to advance Indigenous nursing research to promote reconciliation and decolonization. She conducts collaborative research>with communities, students, and faculty to identify opportunities for meaningful health research that is driven by community-generated priorities. She leads political and social innovation through informal and formal nursing organizations to advance positive change in nursing using Indigenous pedagogies, ethics, and research to enhance understandings of Indigenous nursing knowledge, Indigenous social determinants of health and Indigenous wellness that maintains cultural integrity of nurses practice and supports Indigenous sovereignty.
