Support TRU Wildfire

Fight wildfire with a gift to TRU

The frequency and severity of fires and smoke is expected to increase, especially as climate change continues to impact our planet. It’s critical we find new ways to prevent, prepare for and manage wildfires. The work undertaken by TRU Wildfire has real-world impact for British Columbians and Canadians.

To ensure a safer future, we have to work together. New efforts between governments, Indigenous communities, researchers and the public and private sectors are needed to protect our communities and critical infrastructure.

Our team of wildfire experts at TRU is advancing world-class research in wildfire science, including early warning systems, forest ecology, air quality and ecosystem recovery. With your support, we can reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfire.
