May 15 | Prior to academic year during which application is to be reviewed, dean/director notifies faculty that are eligible to apply for tenure. |
Aug. 1 | Faculty to notify department chair of intention to apply for tenure and/or promotion. |
Sept. 1 | Faculty to submit applications to chair of division, faculty or school tenure and promotion committee. |
Dec. 15 | Chair of division, faculty or school tenure and promotion committee to submit complete application files and recommendations with reasons to chair of university tenure and promotion committee. |
Feb. 28 | Chair of university tenure and promotion committee to submit complete application files and recommendations with reasons to the president. |
March 31 | President to notify faculty members of decision. |
