International student admission to certificate and diploma programs

If you are interested in attending certificate and diploma as an international student, you must apply to TRU International Student Admissions for acceptance to attend the university and to the Adventure Studies Department.

Spaces are limited in these programs and although International Student Admissions can admit you to TRU, the selection of students to Adventure Studies Department programs is done by Adventure Studies Department faculty. You require separate admission to both TRU and the Department.

You will be required to submit a resume and a trip log.

Follow the General Application Guidelines for more information on about the entry criteria for our programs.

Certificate and diploma fees

Fees in the adventure diplomas are based upon a combination of TRU international student tuition AND diploma activity fees. For international students, these fees depend on course selection. TRU World has details on the amount you pay. The Adventure Guide Certificate is comprised of two-three semesters of study and the Diploma is comprised of four to six semesters of study (depending upon your course selection).
