Responsible use of university space policy
- Applies to all university space and the booking of university space for secondary purposes — a short term use of a university space by a user for purpose outside the core operations (primary purpose).
- Primary purpose will always be given priority (i.e. regularly scheduled academic classes [lectures, labs, tutorials, seminars, exams, coursework, practica, research, study, meetings, office work, artistic activity, athletics and recreation, etc.)
- Ensure that anyone using university space acts in a responsible manner and respects the rights of other members of the TRU community.
- Academic freedom is a fundamental value of the university and this policy is not to be interpreted or applied to curtail the academic freedom of any member of the university community.

BTM graduate with over 10 years of experience working in professional roles focused on administration, project, and event coordination.
Audrey joined TRU in January 2022 after working for the City of Kamloops in an event coordinator role. Audrey is a TRU graduate and excited to be back working in an academic environment.
